Exhibitor Highlight: KD Games AZ- GalaxyCon St. Louis
Kyle of KD Games AZ took some time to chat about all things Nintendo 64 at GalaxyCon St. Louis
Galaxy Con took over St. Louis for the first time in the convention’s history on October 10th, 11th, and 12th. The convention overtook the America’s Center Convention Complex in downtown St. Louis for a three-day celebration of all things gaming, comics, wrestling, anime, cosplay, and more. One of the vendors that was set up on the vast convention floor was KD Games AZ. With an eye-catching setup of reskinned Nintendo 64 consoles, complete with LED lights and different logo jewel options to match some classic N64 games.
Kyle, the owner of KD Games AZ, took a few minutes away from the busy show floor to chat about the systems he brought to the show.

Kyle began restoring systems in 2022 when he and a friend started restoring Nintendo 64 consoles. As they worked on more consoles, they found ways to streamline the restoration process to get more consoles back in action and in the hands of gamers.
From there, he started purchasing damaged consoles from auctions, many of which were rejected consoles from popular online retail shop DK Oldies. He took different color shells and mashed them together to create themed consoles, as you can see from the video below. The LED bar strips added to the console and helped bring more character to the consoles, as did the addition of the character jewel above the controller ports.
All of the consoles are completely restored and should give gamers another 30 years of memories. Kyle is also able to do console repairs if you are local to the Phoenix area.
The 90s Invaded St. Louis
Some of the systems on display included Batman and Pokémon-themed Nintendo 64s. As many people made their way through the exhibit hall, the nostalgia of the 90s era of gaming jumped right off the table and grabbed attendees.
Seeing classic Nintendo 64 games like Pokémon Stadium and 007 Goldeneye, among others, being plugged into a completely customized and revitalized Nintendo 64 that had a “Joker” green and purple theme, felt like walking back in time to a suburban 1990s bedroom. The table gave attendees the ability to step back into their childhoods, with a unique 2025 update.
