Anime Magic took over the Donald E Stephens Convention Center and Hyatt Regency O'Hare from August 22nd to 24th. The vendor hall was packed with different vendors and artists selling a variety of products for con attendees to take home with them. One of the vendors that I chatted with was Card Castle 3D.
Josh, who was working the table in the vendor hall, took some time to chat with me about how he got into the trading card game world and eventually into the world of 3D printing. Josh came to Chicago for the convention from Toronto, and Anime Magic was his first United States convention experience. His table was in the creator's corner and was set up next to Plastic Smith Cosplay, with whom I chatted at the same convention last year. Plastic Smith was back with another round of 3D printed cosplay items for cosplayers to interact with
